We are Brittany, Shaun Max and Allie, a family from Australia who are addicted to travelling and breaking out of the, what is considered, “normal” life.
Travelling started when Shaun and I first met when we were 17 and we have since travelled to 24 countries together.
I guess you can say our travelling “ramped up” when our son, Max was born in 2021 when we completed a lap of Australia in our trusty old Millard caravan.
It’s true what they say about the travel bug because we have been planning our great escape from the 9-5 grind again ever since we finished our 2.5 year adventure.
Join us as we go on our next adventure to New Zealand and immerse our children in a different culture and ways of living.
We will share tips and tricks to make travelling with your little ones as smooth as possible given our experiences and learnings along the way,

Meet Brittany
Hey, I’m Brittany – The blog writer, co-content creator, mother of two beautiful children and travel obsessed fiend.
I have been lucky enough to have already visited 12 countries with my family before I met Shaun at age 17. I blame them for the reason that I have such a passion for exploring and travelling the world.
I love to get creative taking photos and short videos to document our travels not only for our own memories but to inspire others to make the most of life and take that holiday, or go on that adventure!
Meet Shaun
Hi, I’m Shaun- I’m the driver and logistic man who adores his family more than anything in the world.
My entire trajectory of life would have been a whole lot different if I didn’t meet Brittany and she encouraged me to take my first flight with her all the way to Europe.
“Normal” length holidays are just not my thing. I would much rather go big or go home if you know what I mean. So when I did make the decision to explore Europe, I took two months off work to do so.
I am the co- editor and ideas person behind some of our best content (don’t tell Britt) and I do it all with a beer in hand.
Meet Max
Hi, I’m Max – when I asked Max what he wanted me to write about him, he said “I’m just a worker, I like to work on things” and that couldn’t be more accurate. When he isn’t being dragged around the country (or other countries for that matter), he is building or tinkering with something around the house.
Anyone looking for birthday present ideas? A roll of sticky tape, a pair of scissors (controversial I know) or a rope will keep this boy occupied for HOURS.
Max was 6 months old when we packed up our house and started travelling around Australia. He has only recently been living in house longer than a caravan which is pretty cool. It’s probably the reason he thrives by making fun from miscellaneous things instead of conventional toys.
Meet Allie
Hi, I’m Allie- the youngest member of the family. I absolutely adore my big brother (even when he forgets he’s 3 years older than me IYKYK).
I’m really passionate about milk, dogs and birds so I’m keen to see what the rest of Australia and the world has to offer in terms of those three things.
As long as I am with my family, I am the happiest little girl you will ever see.
